VALLEY OF FLOWERS : The Trekking in the Valley of Flowers and sources of Ganges. Of all the Himalayan meadows and flower Valley, nothing compares to Garhwal'sunique rock garden, the Valley of Flowers, full of the most fascitinating, fabulous and rich variety of flowering herbs. According to the legends, the Valley of Flowers has been associated spiritually with the name of "HANUMAN" the legendary hero of Ramayana, the great Indian epic.

First bought to limelight in 1931 when Frank Smythe- a British naturalist and mountaineer, who after scaling Kamet Peak, stumbled upon it by chance. Later on Smythe assisted by Englands eminent Botanist R.L Holdsworth explored the Valley extensively. Now, to restore the natural balance and conserve this natural herigage, the Valley of Flowers and its environs are declared as Pushpavati National Park.

TREKKING PROGRAME IN VALLEY OF FLOWERS

Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Arrival assistance at IGI Airport and transfer to hotel.

Day 2: Delhi
Afternoon half day Delhi sight seeing and overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Delhi - Rishikesh
Depart early morning by Jeep/Coach for Rishikesh. O/Night at hotel.

Day 4: Rishikesh - Joshimath
Morning drive to Joshimath. Arrive Joshimath and O/N at hotel.

Joshimath, Garhwal

Day 5: Joshimath - Govindghat - Ghangaria
Morning drive to Govindghat. Commence Trek to Gangaria and enroute lunch. Arrive Ghangaria and O/night at Camp.

Day 6: Ghangaria: Trek to the Valley of Flowers
Morning start Trek to the Valley of Flowers. Later we trek in the open meadow and explore the area. Afternoon back to Ghangaria and O/Night at Camp.

Day 7: Ghangaria : Trek to Hemkund Lake
. Morning start trek to Hemkund flowers. Return to base Camp and O/night at Camp.

Day 8: Ghangaria - Govindgha Trek - Badrinath
Trek to Govindgha and Lunch enroute. From Govindgha drive to Badrinath and check in Hotel. Evening visit Badrinath Temple and O/Night at hotel.

Badrinath, Uttaranchal

Day 9: Badrinath
Trek/drive to Mana Village, the last Indian Village on Indo-Tibet border O/night at hotel.

Day 10: Badrinath - Rudraprayag
After breakfast, drive to Dudraprayag by car/Coach 7-8 hrs. O/night at hotel.

Day 11: Rudraprayag - Rishikesh - Delhi
After breakfast drive to Rishikesh. Evening transfer to Railway Station to board Train to Delhi.

Day 12: Delhi
Arrival assistance at RLY. Station and transfer to hotel and the remaining day at leisure. O/night at hotel.

Day 13: Delhi departure
Morning half day Delhi sight seeing and afternoon for Shopping till transfer to IGI Airport for return flight.
