SOURCE OF THE GANGES - TAPOVAN TREK

Shivling - Tapovan, Garhwal

Enjoy 8 nights 9 days trip to the heart of majestic Mountains and trekking to the source of the most important River and the living Goddess of India The Ganges. One also trek to one of the finest Alpine meadows of Garhwal Himalayas, Tapovan-the meditation ground for the Gods at the base of dream 'SHIVING."

We stay one full day in Tapovan to make exclusive Trek to the base of high peaks and to witness the outstanding Sun rise and Sun set on Shivalik and Bhgirathi group of peaks.

Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Arrival assistance at IGI Airport and transfer to hotel.

Day 2: Delhi
Afternoon half day Delhi sight seeing and overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Delhi - Rishikesh
Morning depart for Rishikesh by A/c Coach or A/c Car. Check in hotel on arrival and overnight at hotel. (Overnight Train is also possible)

Gangotri, Uttaranchal

Day 4: Rishikesh - Gangotri
Morning drive to Gangotri for about 10 hrs. and will stop en route at Gangnai to have hot springs. Arrive Gangotri and check in hotel. Visit Gangotri Temple for Art and O/N at hotel.

Day 5: Gangotri - Bhojbasa Trek
Morning visit the famous Gangotri Temple and thereafter trek to Bhojbasa. Arrive Gangotri Camp and afternoon free to explore the area. Enjoy the excellent Sun set on Bhagirathi group of peaks. Dinner and overnight at Camp.

Day 6: Bhojbasa
Full day free for acclimatization and overnight at Camp.

Day 7: Bhojbasa - Comukh - Tapovan: Trek
Morning enjoy the panoramic view of group of peaks and then trek to Momukh the source of Ganges. Arrive Tapovan and onernight at Camp.

Day 8: Tapovan
Day free to explore the area or walk to the base of high peaks. Evening encounter the most panoramic Sun set on high peaks. Overnight at Camp.

Day 9: Tapovan - Nandan Van Trek
Today we trek to Nandan Van as far as one can to explore the area with pack lunch and evening back to Tapovan. Overnight at Camp.

Day 10: Tapovan - Bhojbasa
Early morning enjoy the Sun rise on high peaks. After breakfast, trek to Bhojbasa for 4/5 hrs. Arrive Bhojbasa and O/N at Camp.

Day 11: Bhojbasa - Gangotri
After breakfast trek to Gangotri for 4/5 hrs. Check in hotel on arrival and O/Night at Hotel.

Day 12: Gangotri - Rishikesh
After breakfast depart for Rishikesh and drive for 8-9 hrs. En route stop for refreshing hot water bath at the Gangnani Hotel Spring and will serve pack lunch. Arrive Rishikeh and ovenight at hotel.

Day 13: Rishikesh - Delhi
Morning free till transfer to Haridwar RLY. Station to board Train to Delhi.

Day 14: Delhi
Arrive Delhi RLY. Station and transfer to hotel. After lunch half day sight seeing or shopping and evening transfer to IGI Airport for return flight.

SKI PROGRAME GARHWAL REGION IN UTTARANCHAL

Skiing, Garhwal

Enjoy Sking on the longest and finest Slopes of Indian Himalayas in the Shadows of Mount NANDA DEVI ( 7817 Metres) one of the highest and most fascinating Peaks In the World. The other high Peaks around the slopes are KARNET ( 7756 Mts.) MANNA Parbat (7273 Mts.) and DUNA GIRI (7066 Mts.)

The trip also involves 2 Days going and coming back of driving along with the Ganges and Alaknanda River as well as visiting the ancient Towns i.e Devprayag and Srinagar. Sking Slopes at AULI with MT. Nanda Devi in back Drop Nanda Devi from AULI.

Day 1: Rishikesh - Joshimath / Auli
Morning drive to Joshimath for 9 -2 0 hrs. Arrive and visit the famous ancient Temple at the confluence. Proceed further and arrive JOSHIMATH and take one of finest ropeway journey to AULI. Arrive AULI and transfer to Cliff Top Resort. Dinner and overnight at Cliff Top Resort.

Auli, Garhwal

Day 2: Auli
Day free for sking and exploring the area. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3: Auli
Full day sking aroung the area and overnigh at hotel.

Day 4: Auli - Rishikesh
After breakfast drive to Rishkesh. Ski Tour ends and Reshkesh and one can stay in Reshkesh or board for Overnight Train to Delhi.
