Panggon Tso ( Lake ) Tour

Panggon lake is situated at an altitude of 4350 Mts. which lies in the North East of LEH. This famous Pangon Lake is 5-6 Kms. wide and 144 Kms. long and more than half of the Lake is in Tibet. The mountains around the Lake are of different shape and colours.

The Lake with its colours, an exquisite scintillating shade of blue, orange and carmine intis of the Sun sent turn it into a wondrous work of nature. Tourist are allowed to drive upto Spangmik which is 8 Kms. The village, shepherd and the landscape en route to this Lake are very interesting. This place is approachable by across the Chang La Pass 5486 Mtrs. One can really enjoy the inner secret and mysteries of the fascinating Lake and the landscape. We organize 2 days tour to this beautiful lake as programes given below:

Day 1. LEH-DURBUK-TANGTSE ( 126 Kms.) : Depart for Pangon lake via Kharu, Chmrey And cross Chang La Pass 5486 Mts. Enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the Villages below the Pass. After crossing the Pass halt for picnic Lunch at TSOLTAK. The continue drive through summer pasture land and arrive at Durbuk and visit the Monastery. Then drive to Tangtse and one can visit the lake to see the beautifull scene of Sun sent at the Lake. Overnight at Camp.

Day 2. TANGTSE - LEH : Early morning short drive to Lukung at the Western Shore Of the lake the last point allowed for tourist. Witness the Sun rise in the back drop of the lake. One really feel so close to the nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. After Lunch depart for LEH and check in hotel. O/N at hotel.

Dah Hanu Valley Tour

Dah Hanu has also been opened to foreign tourist in 1994. Dah Hanu is situated along the Indus between Khalatse and Shayok- Indus confluence. The inhabitant of this place is known as Drokhpa belongs to the purest of the pure from Aryan Race. People are tall, handsome, hospitable and these race believed to be migrated from Central Asia via Gilgit around 1000 years ago. This race is normally quite different from Ladakhis having large and beautiful eyes, sharp acquiline noses and also culturally different.

The greatest beauty or attraction in this area are Village of Biama and Dah and roads are fairly wide. In the gorge of the Indus the Sun's heat reflected off bare rocks and cliffs is frequently intense. The soil is very fertile and people used to have two crops in a year. There are also lots of fruits such Apricots and Apples. The special interest of Dah hanu is its Drokhpa inhabitants as their features are pure Indo Aryans and it is quite visible that people have preserved their racial purity down the centuries. DAY 1.LEH-BIAMA-DAH ( 160 Kms.) : Depart for Dah driving on National highway haltse which is main check post. Continue drive to Biama crossing interesting Villages of this region. Reach Biama and camp at Biama. Afternoon short drive to DAH to see the real Aryan Village. It is interesting to spend sometime with the Inhabitants of DAH and evening return back Biama. O/N at Camp.

Day 2. BIAMA - LEH : One can also visit DAH to enjoy the life of these people wearing Colorful and metallic ear rings and other ornaments. After lunch depart for LEH. O/night at hotel.

Delhi / Leh & Lamayuru / Stok Trek

Markha Valley, Ladakh

Day 01. ARRIVE DELHI : Arrival assistance at IGI Airport and transfer to hotel.

Day 02. DELHI : Afternoon half day Old Delhi sight seeing and O/N at hotel.

Day 03. DELHI-LEH : Early morning transfer domestic Airport to board LEH flight. Arrival Assistance and transfer to hotel. Day at leisure to acclimatize the high altitude Of Ladakh. O/N at hotel.

Day 04. LEH-LAMAYURU : After breakfast depart for Lamayuru. Enroute visit Alchi and Likir monasteries which are oldest monastery in Ladakh. Afternoon visit Lamayuru Monastery which is one of the famous monastery in Ladakh. O/N at hotel.

Day 05. LAMAYURU-HINJU 6/7 hrs. trek: Trek starts and proceed towards the village and follows gradual ascent to Prinkiti La Pass 3720 Mts. Cross the Pass and follow a Gradual descent towards village of Shiila and proceed further to Wang La. Proceed along the left bank of Yapola and then reach Phenjila Village . After about 2 hrs. trek will reach HINJU O/N at Camp.

Day 06. INJU-SUMDO 5/6 hrs. Start trek through main Valley towards Konzke La 4950 Mts: Cross the Pass and follow gradual a long descent on the left bank of River Along mountains. The path narrows down towards the river passing through some meditation Caves before reaching SUMDO where there are beaufiful Camp Sites along the river. Continue trek on the along the mountain and then reach SUMDO. O/night at Camp.

Markha Valley, Ladakh

Day 07. SUMDO-CHILLING 6/7 hrs: Proceed trek through main valley and path becomes more difficult and follow gradual ascent towards EN LA 4800 Mts. After Crossing the Pass continue trek through the valley which narrows down till you Reach CHILLING. The inhabitants of Chilling are working on different metals such as Chang Pot and Tea Pot etc. O/N at Camp.

Day 08. CHILLING-SHINGO 5/6 hrs: Trek starts through Zanskar river. Cross the river by Cable Car and then continue trek till reach SKAYA. After 3 hrs. trek through the Narrow valley you arrive SHINGO. O/N at Camp.

Day 09. SHINGO-GANDA LA - RUMBAK 4 hrs: Trek starts with gradual ascent towards The Ganda La 4700 Mts. Then follow easy descent into the beautiful valley and Yurutse village. Continue trek till you reach RUMBAK . O/N at Camp.

Day 10. RUMBAK - STOK LA-STOK - LEH 5 hrs. and drive : Trek follows through beautiful Valley and ascent towards Stok La by very steep and zigzag path for about 3 hrs. Continue trek through gentle descent towards summer pasture of Stok and follow the river which comes from Stok Kangri ( mountain ). From Stok drive to LEH. Check in hotel and O/N at hotel.

Day 11. LEH : Day at leisure and evening Ladakhi Culture Show which follows by traditional Diner. O/N at hotel.

Day 12. LEH : Days excursion to Hemis monatery and on way back visit Shey and Thiktse Monasteries. O/N at hotel.

Day 13. LEH-DELHI : Transfer to Airport for Delhi flight. Arrival assistance and transfer to HOTEL.

Day 14. DELHI DEPART : Morning half day sight seeing of New Delhi and afternoon for shopping. Evening transfer to IGI Airport for return flight.
