The Nubra Valley lies in the north of LEH and is accessible over the Khardong La Pass 5600 Mt. Which is one of the highest motorable road in the world. The road passes through a bridge laid on Glacier which finds its way in Guinness book of world record. The Nubra Valley has opened for Foreigners in year 1994 by the Govt. of India to expand tourist destination in Ladakh Region.

This Valley is on the trade route from LEH and is accessible via Samsar and Karakoram Pass. Apart from unparallel trekking opportunities, the Valley have several Buddhist monasteries such as Diskit Gompa which 350 years old and is situated on the highest point near the villagein which there are about 120 resident Buddhist monks. Nubra is also known for its double humped bacterian Camels. The Camels are led in the forest to graze during summer and brought back during winter season.

The Nubra Valley is 2 Days trip from LEH as Tour Itinerary is given below:

Day 1. LEH-DISKITM: Early morning depart for Nubra Valley by crossing Khardong La Pass 5600 Mts. Arrive Diskit and check in Guest House/Tent and afternoon visit Diskit monastery which is 515 years old. Overnight at Camp/G.House.

Day 2. DISKIT : Morning excursion to Panamic to visit Sulphur Hot Spring and on way back Visit Samstalling and Sumur monastery. Afternoon visit to Hunder. O/N at Camp.

Day 3. DISKIT-LEH : Depart early morning to LEH via Khardong La and arrive Leh. Check in Hotel. O/N at hotel.

Tsomo Riri Lake Tour

The TSOMO RIRI Lake is situated at an altitude of 4525 Mts. and distance of 240 Kms. from LEH the capital of Ladakh. The Lake is in the South East of Ladakh and its shape is like pearls having large miniral deposit. This Lake is regarded a legend and there are number of stories to tell about this lake. The Lake is 8 km. wide and 25 Kms. long and it is breeding ground for numerous species of Birds. Chief among them is bar headed Goose, crested Grebe, Brahmin Duck and brown headed Gull. Etc.

There is a Village called KORTSOK which is situated on the South West bank of the Lake. There is also a Buddhist Gompa and its inhabitants are Nomads and is Plain area. One has to cross Chumathang, Mahe Village and Puga Village which coming from LEH. From Kortsok one can drive to Tsokar lake and visit Thugke monastery. This place is famous for wild Asses and are generally seen here grazing moving in flocks. It is really very interesting and worth visiting these area. DAY 1. LEH-CHUMATHANG-TSOMORIRI : 240 Kms. Early morning depart from Leh via Chumathang and Mahe Village. Enroute visit Sundah Village and then proceed to Tsomoriri. Overnight at Camp.

Day 2. TSOMORIRI: Morning visit to Korzok monastery and then walk around the Lake to witness the wondersand beauty of the Lake. O/N at Camp.

Day 3. KORZOK-TANGLANG LA-LEH : 245 Kms. Depart early morning for LEH. Enroute visit Puga Village, Stokar Lake and Thugke Gompa. Continue drive and cross Tangland La And then arrive Leh. Check in Hotel and O/N at hotel.

Delhi / Leh & Lamayuru / Stok Trek

Markha Valley, Ladakh

Day 01. ARRIVE DELHI : Arrival assistance at IGI Airport and transfer to hotel.

Day 02. DELHI : Afternoon half day Old Delhi sight seeing and O/N at hotel.

Day 03. DELHI-LEH : Early morning transfer domestic Airport to board LEH flight. Arrival Assistance and transfer to hotel. Day at leisure to acclimatize the high altitude Of Ladakh. O/N at hotel.

Day 04. LEH-LAMAYURU : After breakfast depart for Lamayuru. Enroute visit Alchi and Likir monasteries which are oldest monastery in Ladakh. Afternoon visit Lamayuru Monastery which is one of the famous monastery in Ladakh. O/N at hotel.

Day 05. LAMAYURU-HINJU 6/7 hrs : Trek starts and proceed towards the village and follows gradual ascent to Prinkiti La Pass 3720 Mts. Cross the Pass and follow a Gradual descent towards village of Shiila and proceed further to Wang La. Proceed along the left bank of Yapola and then reach Phenjila Village . After about 2 hrs. trek will reach HINJU O/N at Camp.
Day 06. INJU-SUMDO 5/6 hrs: Start trek through main Valley towards Konzke La 4950 Mts. Cross the Pass and follow gradual a long descent on the left bank of River Along mountains. The path narrows down towards the river passing through some meditation Caves before reaching SUMDO where there are beaufiful Camp Sites along the river. Continue trek on the along the mountain and then reach SUMDO. O/night at Camp.

Markha Valley, Ladakh

Day 07. SUMDO-CHILLING 6/7 hrs: Proceed trek through main valley and path becomes more difficult and follow gradual ascent towards EN LA 4800 Mts. After Crossing the Pass continue trek through the valley which narrows down till you Reach CHILLING. The inhabitants of Chilling are working on different metals such as Chang Pot and Tea Pot etc. O/N at Camp.

Day 08. CHILLING-SHINGO 5/6 hrs: Trek starts through Zanskar river. Cross the river by Cable Car and then continue trek till reach SKAYA. After 3 hrs. trek through the Narrow valley you arrive SHINGO. O/N at Camp.

Day 10. SHINGO-GANDA LA - RUMBAK 4 hrs: Trek starts with gradual ascent towards The Ganda La 4700 Mts. Then follow easy descent into the beautiful valley and Yurutse village. Continue trek till you reach RUMBAK . O/N at Camp.

Day 11. RUMBAK - STOK LA-STOK - LEH : 5 hrs. and drive. Trek follows through beautiful Valley and ascent towards Stok La by very steep and zigzag path for about 3 hrs. Continue trek through gentle descent towards summer pasture of Stok and follow the river which comes from Stok Kangri ( mountain ). From Stok drive to LEH. Check in hotel and O/N at hotel.

Day 12. LEH : Day at leisure and evening Ladakhi Culture Show which follows by traditional Diner. O/N at hotel.

Day 13. LEH : Days excursion to Hemis monatery and on way back visit Shey and Thiktse Monasteries. O/N at hotel.

Day 14. LEH-DELHI: Transfer to Airport for Delhi flight. Arrival assistance and transfer to HOTEL.

Day 15. DELHI DEPART: Morning half day sight seeing of New Delhi and afternoon for shopping. Evening transfer to IGI Airport for return flight.
