9: Delhi Depart Morning free for independent activities or Shopping
till transfer to IGI Airport for return flight.
NOTE : One can
travel by Car Or Coach direct from Delhi - Dharamsala on same day which
would take about 14 hrs. OR one can take stopover at Chandigarh and the next
day drive for Dharamsala. So, you should keep these Travel Options in one's
mind while planning your Tour Dharamsala.
DHARAMSALA
TOUR PROGRAME (SHOTON FESTIVAL): (OPTION IV)
Day 1:
Arrive Delhi Arrival assistance at Airport and transfer to hotel.
Overnight at hotel.
Day
2: Delhi - Pathankot Morning sight seeing of New Delhi and afternoon
Free till transfer to RLY Station to board overnight Train for Pathankot.
Day
3: Pathankot - Dharamsala Our Representative will meet & assist
on arrival at RLY Station and then Transfer Dharamsala by Car/coach.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Dharamsala : Morning
transfer to TIPA to attend the main function of Shoton Festival which will
be inaugurated by His Holiness The Dalai Lama and attended by Cabinet
Ministers and Secretaries of Tibetan Administration. There will be
presentation of Opera from different regional Opera Associations. including
TIPA which will continue for whole day. Evening there will be Tibetan
Culture Show from TIPA. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Dharamsala Morning
attend Shoton festival. Afternoon visit to Norbu Lingka Institute -a culture
Centre where one can see Tibetan Thanka Painting, wood craving and Doll
making etc. Then visit Gyuto Monastery SOS TCV School. Evening Tibetan
culture show at TIPA and Overnight at hotel.
Day
6: Dharamsala Morning visit Tibetan Medical Centre, Tibetan Library,
Nechung Monastery and Tibetan Secretariate. After lunch visit Namgyal
monastery, Dialectic school, Drip Tsecholing and Tibetan Handicraft Centre.
Evening Tibetan culture show at TIPA. Overnight at hotel.
Day
7: Dharamsala Days excursion to Sherabling monastery, Bir via
Palampur. Evening back to D'sala and Overnight at hotel.
Day
8: Dharamsala - Pathankot Morning free till transfer to Pathankot to
board Overnight Train to Delhi.
Day 9: Delhi Assistance
on arrival at RLY. Station and transfer hotel. After Lunch go for shopping
or free for Independent activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day
10: Delhi Departure Day at leisure and evening transfer to
International Airport for return flight.
